About the Artist:At a young age Lisa Daniels was producing drawings for JP Stevens Fabric Company, who used them on some of their products. Around that time, she was studying at Dorothy Cannon's Art Studio in Studio City, California. Under Dorothy's direction Lisa explored traditional art, techniques and many other forms of art. Mentored by several abstract artists including Roy Henry and Mark Petersen who inspired and guided her in contemporary and abstract art with the main focus on nature and architecture. Lisa has done work with Interior Designers for luxury homes, developers, architects doing paintings for their buildings in lobbies, and set decorators who have her work shown on movies and television. Another area she works in is Corporate art and commissioned works.

- St Michael's Mount is a Castle within a tidal Island within Mount's Bay, Cornwall England. The Island is connected to the town of Marazion by means of a man made causeway of granite, and can only be reached when the tide is out as the sea covers the causeway and the mount making it inaccessible by foot. However, when the tide is out anyone visiting can walk across it and enjoy the Island. It is now in the hands of the national trust however the St Aubyn family continue to live in the Castle managing the island as they have since the middle of the 17th century. The Castle boasts a crossbow for hunting hares and rabbits, A piece of Napolean's coat which he wore at the battle of waterloo, and the sofa that Queen Victoria sat on. "It was such a lovely day, but very blustery and the waves were gushing in very fast which is what inspired me to create this piece." ~Maria Bertolone Art is my passion and always will be, ever since an early age I was always drawing and painting, winning many school competitions for the best painting. To this day, I have no idea how many drawing books and rubbers, pencils etc. I managed to go through. I work mainly from my vast collection of personal photos I have taken over the many years, when I have been on vacation. I always have my camera at hand as it is my friend, and if I come across a certain scene or area of interest, I like, I take a photo. Then when I am at home, in my studio, I start working on it.
