Captured the ritualistic remnants of visitors past leaving their rock stack mark on Rialto Beach, Washington. I use photography as a means of documenting my self-guided journey as an artist to discover immersive environments that help me to create a quiet visual haven from the loud chaos of the everyday. I often use black and white to isolate light and discover intricate detail. My subject choice comes from my desire to see the exact opposite of my every day surroundings in sunny Florida. I am specifically inspired by the Pacific Northwest.
