About the Artist:  Beatriz Morera was born in Holguin; Cuba in 1995 and began to draw and paint at a very early age.  In 2014 Beatriz graduated as a professional artist from Professional Academy of Fine Arts "El Alba" Painting Program and obtained the Best Student's Distinction.  She has participated in many collective and sole exhibitions and through the last year she has develop an artistic project called Made in Casa; in order to speak about the scarcity phenomenon in the Cuban society and the continuous effort of each Cuban person in the fight for his own and his family's subsistence.  At present she is studying at the university.
