About the Artist: Madeleine Turgeon is a Canadian professional artist who resides near Montreal. She has studied Art ; Design at OCAD ; U in Toronto, Canada and apprenticed with painters and mosaic artists in Europe and New Zealand. She has been painting professionally since 1995 and is currently exploring new contemporary approach of the 3D mosaic. Despite forays into mixed media and broken ceramic, Madeleine has always returned to the medium that got her career started painting. She captures in a unique way the essence and diversity of nature. Her images are an endeavor to capture the essence of Canada.
