About the Artist: Karen Zima is full time artist and she paints every day of her life, unless she's sick or on vacation. Karen was born in Easton, Pennsylvania and her talent was recognized early, when at the age of ten she won a prize for a portrait in a school contest. After high school, Karen furthered her art studies at Penn State. She considers herself to be a prolific painter who is known for great attention to detail and strength of color in her work.
