About the Artist: Steve Seagren was born in Fresno CA in 1954 and now lives in Los Angeles. Steve studied painting and printmaking at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from 1978 to 1982 . In 1983 he left painting to pursue a career in the performing arts, he was a stand up comedian, an actor, and a filmmaker for over 35 yrs until Steve returned to painting in 2019.
