There is something so wonderful to be found in a photograph of a special moment in time, but I find the transformation of that split second in time, through the precise and single-eyed perspective of a camera, and then further, through the subjective and error-filled paintbrush I wield, to be a wonderfully poetic visual representation of memory. Like a memory, it is a little fuzzier, a little more saturated, a little more unreal.
