About the Artist: Wayne Chunat is a wildlife artist from Lakeland Florida. He is a self-taught artist but has over the years attended workshops presented by artists such as Don Altemus, Arleta Pech, Robert Bateman, John Seere-Lester, Hiner Hertling, John Banovich, Fred Leach, George Wervey and David Rankin. It has always been his intention to change attitudes toward nature through his artwork. Wayne tries to tell a story about the subject and its environment that makes the viewer feel they are a part of a living, breathing world that no one totally controls. It is his life�s ambition to see his talents support the development of parks and natural areas and to assist conservation efforts at home and throughout the world.
