"Fort William 31 miles long and 1.2 miles wide, Loch Linnhe is situated on the banks of Fort William and also stretches past it. Its breath taking scenery and blazing sunsets make it the ideal location for photographers and Artist: s alike. It also boasts many opportunities to document the diversity in wild life, such as many seals that inhabit these tranquil waters. There are also porpoises, dolphins, and an abundance of sea birds. If you look up into its crystal clear blue sky you might just spot the odd Golden Eagle souring high above you. Fort William is also situated at the foot of the mountain Ben Nevis and this is what inspired me to create this majestic scene in all its surrounding glory."~ Maria Bertolone Art is my passion and always will be, ever since an early age I was always drawing and painting, winning many school competitions for the best painting.
