About the Artist: Shannon Johnson is a retired teacher of elementary and middle school science, and after a career of 27 years has begun to spend an abundance of free time drawing. Having gained great pleasure doing some painting and drawing in the past, she decided to try colored pencils for the first time about five years ago. Shannon is now a member of THE CREATIVE COLOR PLACE - for Color Pencil Artists and the Color Pencil Society of America.
