Joey Agbayani was born in Quezon City, Philippines in 1965. ?In the past when photographic equipment has not yet been invented, most artists? obsession was to capture images as accurately and realistically as possible through illustrations and paintings. With today?s digital technology almost anything can be achieved, with computer manipulation, in terms of ?Look?, texture and the color of images in photography, print and film. So today, the challenge for the artist in creating paintings, is to come up with a very distinctive look which can only be achieved in his art form."
