Sharon Hawkshawe
Painter and Photographer

Sharon never plans her canvases; which is the complete opposite of her life. Sharon intuitively knows days before she begins what the size of the canvas will be. Sharon never knows what the canvas will ultimately look like, once completed. However; she does know what feeling it will omit. Once Sharon begins painting, the first couple of color choices are again instinctual. After the design becomes evident, Sharon then begins to methodically choose the colors. This is so she can build a balanced, visually pleasing painting. Sharon’s paintings are about color first, design second. Color is always the vehicle used in order to deliver the intended message.
Sharon's artistic expression has now found photography. Sharon enjoys the natural untouched beauty of nature. She hopes to express the natural beauty of the world through her photography.
Sharon is also a published author, publishing under both her sur name as well as her num de plum, Sharon Belle. Sharon has penned several magazine articles, as well as co-author a book of poetry, entitled Songs of the Soul. Her artwork is also featured throughout, including the front cover.
