Lyndy Bush
Painter

Lyndy Bush’s work is autobiographical. Every image has a story behind it. She can remember the day, the place, her mood, the path she and her children took to get there, or who gave Lyndy the object in the still life. She is telling her own story and she is turning the emotional earmarks of her life outward into the world.
“I am an oil painter that focuses on painting landscapes and still-lifes. I have a background in anthropology, and this tends to skew my work towards a more humanistic approach. My work is my story. These images are me and my life. I welcome the anthropologist in each of you to see what I see.
