"With a focus on representation, most of my works are portraits and still life painted in oil on canvas. Conveyed via a limited palette, my subjects are framed against swathes of monochromatic color and emphasize notion of mood, place, and implied narrative. Through a tangible sense of vulnerability embedded in my work, I aim to offer hope, comfort, and peace to the viewer - resulting in a subtle message of optimism that is always necessary.

“Representing what I see and communicating it visually, is a basic need for me. By doing so, I am touching on human experience, and collecting the feeling of the present moment. I am choosing and isolating a moment, honest and heartfelt, to connect with the viewers, allowing them to begin a dialogue with my work.”
