"I am experienced with watercolor, acrylic, colored pencil, collage, and sculpting with clay. I have loved art since I was a child. My goal is to
spend the rest of my life deeply immersed in the art community, inspiring other artists and art enthusiast with my work.

I love when art can tell a story. Whether it is a streak of color on a
blank canvas or a detailed photo of a child taking his first bite of ice
cream, I enjoy creating a story behind the piece. Not everyone will
arrive at the same story. Some will feel hurt or pain, others joy in a
memory but the idea that art can evoke such deep feelings is interesting to me. It’s exciting to me to see conversations and
sometimes debates that arise simply because an artist chose to move his or her pencil in such a manner. ~Wendy Layne
