Victoria Ivanova

Victoria Ivanova, in 11 years, went from teenage to a master’s degree in art. During her studies at the St. Petersburg University of Technology and Design, she periodically took part in city and international exhibitions of painting. During Victoria’s Master’s Degree at Central South University in China, she also participated in “The twelfth Art and Design Exhibition of Chinese Universities” and “The 2021“ALL Painting / Drawing Art Competition.”

“The philosophy of my art is to evoke positive and nostalgic emotions in the viewer. By choosing warm tones, warm pastel colors, medium saturation, and warm natural lighting in the composition, I manage to influence the perception of the displayed story in my artwork. Each painting should carry an idea, thoughts, emotions, and its own special aesthetics.”

“As an artist, I believe that modern techniques in painting art are constantly evolving, thus attracting many viewers and lovers of art. I create my works based on techniques that I have learned in Russia and China. I studied more traditional painting In Russia. Modern techniques mainly adding unusual materials that can cause certain effects such as salt, splashing water, alcohol, sawdust and so on in learned in China. I would like to show people that there are not only classical forms of art, but also modern ones, that can cause exciting emotions.”
