Lydia Falletti

Lydia Falletti believes art must have meaning, must say or convey something. To the viewer it should evoke emotion, it must have a subject of recognition, a connection of some sort. It must be pleasing to the eye as well as the viewer wanting to own a piece. Most importantly art should hold the viewers’ attention where they can't take their eyes off it. If Lydia can achieve all this, she has reached her goal, and has accomplished her intent.

“My artistic talent developed at an early age, but as fate would have it, I was pointed in a different direction, however, my love of art did not diminish, and I continued over the years painting different subjects. I have only just begun to have exposure, in a short period of time my work is displayed in different Recreation centers, one of my pieces was selected to hang permanently in one of them. I also have been chosen as artist of the month and a story ran in the "Villages Daily Sun". Our community is over 110,000 people and growing. I participate in numerous art shows throughout the year.”
