“As a visual storyteller, I am stuck in my mind; a place where I can live and create without the repercussions or judgment. I want these ideas that float in my head to become part of reality. Within my animation and digital illustration, I attempt to create characters and stories that revolve around the misrepresented and underrepresented. Ultimately for the sake of including an individual who has an overall purpose and represents something larger within an animation. This is done by breaking stereotypes and creating a realistic individual that has the background and personality that they normally would not be associated with. My hope is for others to have a sense of being able to identify with the character(s) or determine a way in which they may identify through my art.”
“The goal is to create art that encourages the use and promotion of open-minded perspectives and ideas, in order to bring recognition to the topics that feel unheard and unseen.”
“My art philosophy is to create content that is not only visually pleasing to the audience, but open to one's own interpretation.”
