Courtney Herz is an artist living and working in Southern California. She creates mostly digital and pencil art, but also enjoys exploring all mediums. Storytelling has always been a part of who Courtney is, whether it's writing fantasy novels, composing musical scores, or creating art. To that end, she constantly strives to find ways to tell stories through visual media just as she has tried to tell them in other ways over the course of her life. Courtney believes that as artists, we touch people by telling our stories; words are merely optional, and many times they get in the way. She loves being able to connect with people she’s never met and whose language she doesn't speak through the mutual understanding of an image. To her, that's art, and she is thrilled to be creating it.

Art gives us the ability to communicate ideas that we find difficult to express with words; to be playful and explore our creativity to the fullest; and to bring into existence the worlds and creatures that had previously only existed in our minds. “I started out in my art career in 2016. I'd always been creative, but I started taking art seriously during the spring of 2016, and I've been creating it ever since. So far, I've been honored with a gallery inclusion for my digital piece "Tamed", which was part of a group show at the University of North Dakota in October of 2017. Additionally, I was awarded Gallery Choice by the CAGO Gallery for my digital piece "Drowning/Double Exposure", also in October of 2017. I'm very grateful for these accomplishments and acknowledgements, and I'm excited to see what the rest of my art career holds.”

We will then issue you a prepaid FedEx or UPS shipping label to affix to the box and return. Items must be shipped backed within seven days of receiving the order. 50% of the cost of the return will be deducted from your refund. If you live outside of the United States, please see below for the return procedure. Art that is returned damaged will not be refunded. Photographs and limited edition prints that are returned wrinkled, dented, or smudged due to mishandling will incur a handling fee based on the size of the piece. We will provide you with the return shipping address so that you can ship the artwork with the carrier of your choosing. Receipt of a Damaged Piece of Art? We package all artwork in custom built art boxes to insure safe delivery, so receiving damaged art is a rare occurrence. If you receive a damaged piece of art, contact us within 24 hours, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (844) 210-7722. Please take a picture as well as save the box and all packaging material; we must have these items in order to process the claim.
